3D Commission Info

I’m Kat, I was a previously self-taught 3D artist but I’ve been studying the craft in my animation and game development course for a year now.I am passionate about bringing characters to life in whichever medium I’m in and 3D models allow me to do so in the most dynamic and versatile way possible.

3D Modelling - Terms of Service

1. General
- I reserve the right to refuse any commission without the need to provide reasons.
- I reserve the right to cancel and refund a commission under any circumstances. Any and all refunds will be completed within 46 hours.
- These commissions are for the low-poly models similar to the examples provided. Any additional requests outside of the standard style may affect pricing and delivery time.2. Usage Rights
- The commissioned models can be used for animation, VTube avatars, VRChat, VSeeFace, and similar platforms.
- Redistribution of the model files (free or for profit) is prohibited without my explicit permission. Exempt from this is having third parties port it for the buyer or similar.
- Models created for VTubing or other content creation can be used commercially (e.g., streaming, monetized videos).
- I retain the right to use the commissioned work in my portfolio or social media, unless agreed otherwise. If you prefer your commission not be shared, please let me know beforehand.
- You may not use the model as a base or recolour it for other characters.3. Payment
- Prices start at $100 USD and may increase depending on the complexity and additional features requested.
- Payments are split into two parts:
-> 50% of the total fee upfront before starting the commission.
-> The remaining 50% before delivery of the final files.
- Payments are accepted via PayPal.
- Without sufficient reason, all payments are non-refundable once I have started working on the commission.
- Any and all refunds will be completed within 46 hours.4. Revisions
- I will provide updates throughout the creation process. You will have the opportunity to request changes during the modelling phase.
- Minor revisions (e.g., adjustments to colour or small details) are included, but major changes may incur additional fees.
- Any revisions after the final delivery will incur a fee depending on the complexity of the change.6. Cancellation Policy
- Commissions may be canceled by the client before work begins for a full refund. Any and all refunds will be completed within 46 hours.
- If I need to cancel the commission for any reason, you will receive a full refund, regardless of the progress made.
- If you cancel the commission after work has begun, the initial payment will not be refunded, and no further work will be done on the model. You will receive the files when I clean them.7. Client Responsibilities
- You must provide clear and detailed references for your model. This includes any necessary design files, descriptions, or artistic references.
- Additional costs may apply for revisions if incomplete or unclear information is provided.8. Communication
- All communication regarding commissions will be done through Instagram, Discord or Email.
- Please allow up to 30h for replies to inquiries, as I may be managing multiple commissions at once and I have uni on the side.9. File Ownership and Distribution
- You will receive full ownership of the final model after payment is completed.
- Redistribution or reselling of the model or files in any form without my consent is not permitted. Exempt from this is having third parties port it for the buyer or similar.10. Updates and Changes to TOS
- These Terms of Service may be updated at any time. Any changes will apply only to future commissions and not retroactively.
